Fattigdom omfattar fler dimensioner \u00e4n den ekonomiska. Fattigdom inneb\u00e4r \u00e4ven brist p\u00e5 frihet, inflytande, h\u00e4lsa, utbildning och s\u00e4kerhet. Det brukar kallas f\u00f6r multidimensionell fattigdom. Idag lever 1,3 miljarder m\u00e4nniskor i multidimensionell fattigdom och av dessa \u00e4r h\u00e4lften under 18 \u00e5r.<\/p>\n

Brist p\u00e5 mat, sjukv\u00e5rd, s\u00e4kerhet och rent vatten d\u00f6dar tusentals m\u00e4nniskor varje\u00a0dag, men det blir b\u00e4ttre och sedan 1990 har den extrema fattigdomen halverats. M\u00e5l 1 handlar om att avskaffa fattigdom i alla dess former och ge alla m\u00e4nniskor i v\u00e4rlden chans till ett v\u00e4rdigt och tryggt liv.<\/p>\n
